Setershytten har tidligere stått på Hauge i Haugesund, hvor det var en gartnerbolig. Rønnevik demonterte og flyttet uthuset fra Haugesund og til Vibrandsøy, en øy ca 800 meter fra Haugesund sentrum. Her har det vært et en Kystseter for det offentlige fellesskapet, og et tverrfaglig møtested mellom kunst, arkitektur og kystkultur.
Prosjektet var støttet av BKH og Haugesund kommune.
The Coast hut has previously been situated at Hauge, north of the city centre of Haugesund. There it was a washing house and gardener’s home. Rønnevik dismantled and moved the outhouse from Haugesund and to Vibrandsøy in 2020 – an island about 800 meters from the center of Haugesund.
Here its has been a coastal hut for the public community, and an interdisciplinary meeting place between art, architecture and coastal culture.
The project was supported by BKH and Haugesund municipality.
