Bro til skog, og skog til ro / Bridge to forest, and forest to peace

Juli 2021 var jeg gjestekunstner ved Galleri Rustica, Holmeknappen
Sammen med en gruppe frivillige fra lokalbefolkningen, gav vi pleie og gi omsorg til et avgrensede område langs elva. Såvel som rundt vaskeplassen og lauvskogen ved tunet til det historiske Holmestova fra 1568. Vi beskjærte trærne, slik at røttene på trærne kunne få lys, luft og energi. Sammen skapte vi fellesskap og deltakende tilkobling til natur, landskap, til hverandre og kulturhistorie.
Vi gav omsorg til naturen og oss selv. Vi gav rom for fordøyelse, sortering og refleksjon av inntrykk.

Summer of July 2021, I was a guest artist at Galleri Rustica, Holmeknappen, Norway.

Together with a group of volunteers from the local community, I nurtured and cared for a limited area along the river. Also around the washing stairs and the deciduous forest by the historic Holme cottage from 1568. We pruned the trees, so that the roots of the trees could get light, air and energy. Together we created a temporary community and participatory connection to nature, landscape, as well as to each other and the cultural history.

We nurtured and cared for nature and ourselves. We gave room for digestion, sorting and reflection of impressions.
